Once the identified funder has "ring fenced" funding for the proposed project, the Aid-4-Africa Foundation prepares the funding proposal and submits the “designer submission” for final consideration and approval.

Upon obtaining the grant funding approval required for a particular project, a legal “Offer of Funding” contract between the project owners and the funders is concluded whereby the Aid-4-Africa Foundation is commissioned as the funder's representative.

The Aid-4-Africa Foundation is therefore primarily interested in protecting the funder's investment by ensuring transparency, accountability and good governance practices in the execution of any and all projects. In essence, the Aid-4-Africa Foundation is primarily responsible to ensure that the respective "project owners" actually accomplish what they promise to achieve, unequivocally stated on acceptance of the grant funding.

Until such time that an Offer of Funding is furnished to the "project owners", the Aid-4-Africa Foundation will not disclose any information in respect of the funders, their identity or contact details. This is the express wish of almost every foundational funder. The funders do not accept any unsolicited submissions and do not engage in any correspondence from unsolicited parties. Furthermore, any attempt to contact the funders directly prior to the Offer of Funding being furnished to the "project owners" will definitely compromise the project, as the funders will typically withdraw their allocated financial support of the project at hand.

The United Kingdom endorses what have arguably been described as the most stringent money laundering regulations in the world. Furthermore, EU banking regulations came into effect on the 1st of July 2005 that ensures similar levels of fiscal accountability to those of the United Kingdom . The Aid-4-Africa Foundation and their funders meticulously comply to every known and given banking regulation. The Aid-4-Africa Foundation has registered bankers in South Africa that comply with all FICA regulations, and the funders will transfer funds from the Bank of their choosing. Further information will only be disclosed regarding the Aid-4-Africa Foundation's or the funder's bankers upon the "project owner's" receipt of the offer of funding contract.

Suffice it to say that the Aid-4-Africa Foundation has never, and will never, entertain relationships with any funding sources that of dubious distinction. The Aid-4-Africa Foundation maintains highly ethical and professional standards and is categorically opposed to mobilising "drug money, blood money, laundered money or any other funds that have been obtained through "ill gotten" means of any nature!

In keeping with the Aid-4-Africa Foundation ethos of facilitating local expertise, the Aid-4-Africa Foundation has therefore elected to "outsource" all Project Monitoring functions in order to effectively facilitate the highest principles of absolute financial control and maintains at all times, an environment of good governance, to promote the required transparency and accountability, to achieve real-time reporting and provide the highest level of comfort to the funders in respect of the security(appropriate disbursement) of their grant funding.

The Aid-4-Africa Foundation always performs its own due diligence exercise in respect of "potential projects".  The Aid-4-Africa Foundation has developed a unique
Project Rating Tool.  All prospective organisations seeking Project funding are required to complete the self explanatory, self-assessment questions contained in the Project Rating Tool. Furthermore, the "project owner" Organisation, and all its Directors/Trustees, will be subjected to comprehensive legal and credit vetting by the Aid-4-Africa Foundation's search agents, before any approach to potential donor/funding organisations will occur

The grant funding for each of the projects is carefully costed and specifically designated to be spent according to the terms and conditions of the respective funding contracts.

The Aid-4-Africa Foundation retains all funds in a Central Fund's Repository and coordinates the payment of third party suppliers via EFT whenever possible. EFT's are only effected once the appropriate motivations are authorised in terms of a pre-negotiated project plan. The release of “cash” is extremely rigorously controlled and monitored. Tracking of records, motivations, appropriations, authorisations and expenditures at every level is therefore of paramount importance.

Each of the respective projects retains their locally appointed Project Managers. However, the ultimate Project Administration (Monitoring) remains the responsibility of the Aid-4-Africa Foundation . To this end, the Aid-4-Africa Foundation and coordinates all aspects of Project Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, until the predetermined project “end points” have been achieved (i.e. for the duration of the project funding grant).

The Aid-4-Africa Foundation does not receive any commission on grant funding, or from any other source whatsoever. Project administrative fees are stipulated with in the legal "Offer of Funding" contract. The Aid-4-Africa Foundation does not derive any "core funding" from any of the grant funding that it is able to mobilise. The Aid-4-Africa Foundation staff is salaried and do not charge for services rendered, or derive any commissions whatsoever.

The only Aid-4-Africa Foundation services that attract any "chargeable fees" are those in respect of research, document preparation and final designer submission production costs. Drafting, crafting, and writing of the funding submission, along with the secretarial design, artwork and final production of the designer submissions do attract nominal fees. These fees only cover the cost of employing the appropriate professionals that are commissioned to produce between 10 and 15 bound copies for final submission.

"Designer Submission" grant funding proposal preparation fees usually range between 0.1% and 0.2% of the grant funding requested. However, a minimum charge of £ 4000 (GBP) will be levied on all designer submissions.

Moreover, the Aid-4-Africa Foundation issues a conditional "money back guarantee" in the highly unlikely event that the submission might not be successful in attracting the requested grant funding. (The conditional qualifications are limited to fraudulent declarations, prior dilatory conduct or contravention of the nondisclosure/non circumvention of Aid-4-Africa Foundation "works in progress" prior to submission to the funders.)
